The journey from Umeå to Tärnaby takes about 5–6 hours, while driving from Mo i Rana in Norway takes about 2–3 hours.
Car rentals are available in Mo i Rana, allowing you to drive across the border via the E12. The route is well-maintained year-round and offers spectacular views of fjords, mountains, and lakes, making the drive part of the adventure.
